Sexual abuse is too often met with silence, both from victims and the systems meant to protect them.

It challenges the idea that healing and abuse must look a certain way, or follow a set path. It invites the audience to witness the emotional weight survivors carry, how trauma manifests in the body and the mind, and how shared pain, even when unspoken, can connect people.

The film aims to spark difficult but necessary conversations about sexual violence, trauma, and survival , especially in contexts where the perpetrators are trusted authority figures like family members or religious leaders. It also uplifts the importance of community spaces (like self-defense programs) as avenues for empowerment, and the role of women supporting each other, even unintentionally, through shared lived experiences.
